Watching my kids grow and getting the opportunity to teach them has been so fun. I knew before I had kids that I didn’t want to rely on just Sunday School to teach my kids about God and His word. To me, motherhood is a ministry and it’s primarily my job to disciple them. Anything beyond that is a bonus!
My son loves hands-on learning. So, giving him something tangible to hold when teaching him something new is a must. So when I was considering the best way to start including memorizing scripture in his daily life, I thought about creating these colourful ABC Bible Memory verse cards.
This FREE printable comes with 26 scripture cards, one for each letter of the alphabet. The scriptures included are all easy to memorize. You can even make them into a rhyme or song to help your child remember!
What we’ve been doing lately is adding this to our weekly pre-k routine. Every week, we focus on a new letter and because these cards are alphabetized, it works perfectly! We end up focusing on one verse per week and it gives my son the chance to memorize and meditate on the words.
You can also check out our Scripture alphabet tracing cards! They use the same verses but the letters are traceable for writing practice. These are perfect for preschool and kindergarten! You can find these here.

I recommend printing these files on printer paper or cardstock and laminating them for durability and multiple uses. Don’t forget to round the corners so your little learners don’t get hurt!
