Easy Slime Removal Trick

If you’re reading this, you know the headache that slime can be. It can be super fun but also very messy. Today I want to share with you this super easy slime removal trick!

It all started with the first time I made slime with my kids. After almost having to shave my kid’s hair off, my kid decided slime wasn’t for his head. But besides that, it was fun to play with and super easy to make.

This week, we decided to make it again. But, somewhere between reminding my child not to put the slime in his hair and going to clean up, my son said “umm, mommy can you help?”.

I thought to myself, oh no not again. I really thought I would have to cut his hair this time. As I peeked over, I realized that his hair was fine but that he might have just destroyed one of his favourite shirts ?.

I immediately took the shirt off of him and started picking at it like I did his hair. But NOTHING worked!

That’s when I asked my Instagram community for help.

This is what they suggested:

• Boiling Water
• Vinegar

This method works fast! All you have to do is place the shirt in a bucket with boiled water and a bunch of vinegar and agitate it.

As I did this, I could see as the slime melted away and I didn’t have to throw the shirt away! So, after a few minutes, I dumped the hot water and vinegar out and rinsed them with cold water.

The shirt was like new!
