Hey friends! It’s Friday again and I am back with another fun freebie for your little learners. This week’s freebie is our FREE Pumpkin Gospel Coloring book! Just in time for Halloween.
Honestly, I don’t have a solid conviction about Halloween. I have heard arguments on all sides about how it’s evil and also how it can be redeemed.
Growing up, I never celebrated Halloween. So naturally, I don’t even think about it now. But my son has asked me a few times about it which has made me have to consider whether or not we will participate in the festivities.
Either way, what I do know for sure is that I want all that we do to point to Jesus in some way. I don’t mind my son dressing up any of the other days in the year and although I try to limit candy it’s not off-limits. But there’s also the element of spooky things concerning Halloween.
Obviously, there are certain things I just won’t expose my kids to in order to guard their hearts. So, when I was considering how to participate in some capacity while I sort out where I stand I came across the Pumpkin Gospel.
I fell in love with this idea. it allows for the pumpkin carving but it brings Christ to the centre. So, I decided to create a coloring book for my kiddos this year with this idea.
How cool is it to be able to bring the Gospel to our littles in this way?
