Homemade Baby Safe Paint

Painting is an all-time favourite for many. The challenge with little ones is that they love to taste everything!

Although many paints are labelled non-toxic and kid-friendly, the ingredients list can still make us feel unsure. Most of us don’t know half of what the ingredients in these products are. This is why making your own paint is the perfect solution!

This Homemade Baby-Safe Paint is easy to make and only takes about 5 minutes! The ingredients are made up of things that you normally find in your kitchen and it works well for almost any surface, especially window painting!

My 3-year-old son loves to paint! But we haven’t been painting as often since his sister was born. Mainly because she puts everything in her mouth.

With this homemade baby-safe slime paint recipe we’ve been able to do all the painting we want, worry-free! I hope you can also enjoy it, especially during this quarantine period.

To clean the paint from the windows, mix water with with dish soap in a bowl and use a cloth to rub off the paint in a circular motion. Go over with window cleaner to remove any streaks.

Note: Food colouring can stain depending on the kind you buy. Make sure your child is wearing clothes they can get paint on as they would with normal paint.
