Popsicle Stick Trinity Craft

I’ve been thinking of ways to explain the Trinity to my children. How can you explain something so mysterious? Good things topics like these take child-like faith. That and a few fun crafts! Today I have a fun Popsicle Stick Trinity craft for you and your kiddos!

Before we get into it, let’s look at a few other ways we can illustrate the Trinity to our little learners.

Understanding the Trinity

These simple illustrations can be used to explain the Trinity before we get into our fun craft!

One Egg – Three Parts

Crack the egg open in a bowl. Show your child that ONE egg has three distinct parts: the shell, the egg white and the yolk – but it’s still ONE egg.

One Apple -Three Parts

Take an apple and an apple peeler. One Apple is made from three parts: the skin, the flesh and the seeds – but it’s still ONE apple.

One You -Three Parts

Did you know you are ONE person but are made up of a body, a soul and a spirit?

Popsicle Stick Trinity Craft

Items Needed

  • Popsicle Stick Trinity Printable
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Hole Puncher
  • String

Step 1:

Make a triangle with the popsicle sticks and glue them together

Step 2:

Cut out each circle from the Popsicle stick Trinity printable and have your child glue it to each corner of the triangle as pictured above.

Step 3

Last but not least, cut out the triangle that says God is 3 in 1. Make a hole at the top of the triangle and thread a string or piece of yarn through it. Glue or tape the string to the triangle and voila! You can hang this on the fridge, the wall or even your Christmas tree.
